MY SKINCARE ROUTINE:
First off I want to give ALL credit to my amazing dermatologist Christie Kidd and within her practice Jennifer Zubick. They have such an incredible and welcoming team – if you live in Los Angeles I couldn’t recommend them more. Everyone’s skin is different but today I will be sharing MY skincare routine with you in detail! Let’s get into it.
Morning
Evening
– Renewal by Christie Kidd: This is one of my favorite products! It is the perfect serum that works hard for you every night. It is anti-aging and scar reducing and actively works to firm skin and provide instant hydration. I notice the difference every morning. I make sure to keep my face damp and wet my fingers when gently pressing this into my skin. If this is your first time using this – start introducing it into your routine slowly. Maybe start with twice a week and slowly work your way to every other night until you feel ready to bring into your routine every night. Remember to only use this at night when you know you won’t be in the sun. *please note that if you are pregnant or breastfeeding it is best to skip this step.
That is it!! so simple – I’ve learned that less really is more. Due to pregnancy and breastfeeding I have had to adjust this routine to only being able to use the cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen but my skin is still glowing and in such great shape. It is really a testimony of how amazing these products are. You can also purchase these products in a bundle here.
Additional Tips:
– Always use a fresh towel when drying your face after washing! You can order a pack of small face towels – here are some I use.
– Dab your face dry and leave it slightly damp for extra hydration. Never roughly rub your face with the towel – be gentle.
– Brush your teeth before you wash your face so the last thing you do is cleanse, keeping your skin truly clean!
– Wash your face last in the shower! It should be the last thing you do to ensure to cleanse off any chemicals from any shampoos or conditioners, etc.
– Don’t pick your blemishes if you do get any, be patient and kind with your skin. I promise it will go away faster if you leave it alone.
– Stay consistent with your routine and hold yourself accountable.
